The North Coast

Cornwall is essentially a county of two coastlines running along a narrow central spine. Although only a few miles apart, the North and South Coasts are, in many respects, totally different and the contrast provides a cool choice for visitors.

Generally, the rugged North Coast is where you will find towering cliffs interspersed with some of the widest, sandiest beaches in the whole country. This is the landscape of Arthurian legend and Poldark one minute and a surfer’s paradise the next. Introduce one or two traditionally Cornish fishing harbours like Rick Stein’s Padstow and Doc Martin’s Port Isaac and you have the complete spectrum of everything you’d expect to find in Cornwall.

With this in mind, we are pleased to announce our NEW ‘North Cornwall’ Kernow Tour for visitors and locals alike! check out the full itinerary on the website…

I did a ‘dry run’ with a delightful, intimate group last week and it was just so enjoyable – lots of history and facts and much laughter along the way – and, oh my – those cliffs!
