Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most often from guests planning their Cornwall tour.

What types of tours does Kernow Tours offer?

Kernow Tours offers a variety of tours of Cornwall including scenic all-day tours like the ‘Best of the West’ and regional-focused tours like the ‘North Cornwall’ and ‘South Cornwall’ tours. For those interested in specific themes, we also offer the popular ‘Stones & Bones’ and ‘Mining & Heritage Coast’ tours. Each tour Cornwall experience is designed to showcase the best Cornwall has to offer.

The common thread with all of our private touring experiences is that we showcase the ‘must see’ destinations but are driven by wanting to share some of the harder to access and ‘off the beaten path’ locations that make Cornwall so unique.

Neolithic stone circles and underground burial chambers, medieval churches that contain ancient wooden carvings within, engine houses signifying tin mines underneath — and parts of the ‘hidden Cornwall’ that many visitors never get to see…

We’re called Kernow Tours because “Kernow” is the Cornish word for Cornwall, capturing the deep local heritage and cultural pride of this beautiful region. When you book a tour experience with us, you’re exploring with a company rooted in Cornish identity, committed to sharing the best of what Cornwall has to offer.
